Dead Horse Point - Few mins after the sunrise

USA trip 2012 – Dead Horse Point State Park – Utah – panoramas

I arrived there late at night. Had a nice & deep sleep, so deep that I almost missed the sunrise 🙂 Luckily for me, some other visitors woke me up and was able to witness this astonishing sunrise. This was my first time when I saw something so huge. It’s a must see place for anyone!!!

The park is named “Dead Horse Point” because of its use as a natural corral by cowboys in the 19th century. The “dead horse” part of the name is that the corral was abandoned, but the horses did not leave the corral, even after the gate was left open, and died there
